About Us

Delta Electric is a certified Mexican manufacturer dedicated to designing and producing high-reliability power distribution equipment—including distribution transformers, industrial electrical enclosures, medium-voltage substations, concentrators, and custom switchboards—engineered in-house under ISO 9001 processes and in full compliance with NMX, ANSI, IEEE, and NEMA standards. With more than 85% of our materials sourced nationally, rigorous FAT/SAT testing, and a technical team focused on precision, traceability, and long-term operational continuity, we deliver certified solutions that strengthen industrial, commercial, and utility-grade electrical infrastructure across Mexico and beyond.

Our Story

Delta Electric was founded with the purpose of strengthening Mexico’s energy industry through worldclass local manufacturing. Born within a 90 year old business group, the company recognized an opportunity: to produce distribution transformers that meet international standards, powered by Mexican engineering and industrial capability. Since then, Delta Electric has become a trusted partner for integrators, industrial developers, and manufacturing facilities seeking electrical solutions with fast lead times, verifiable documentation, and continuous technical support.

From Our Legacy to Our Purpose

Our history reflects a legacy of engineering excellence that continues to shape our mission, vision, and values. These principles guide how we design, manufacture, and deliver reliable energy solutions for the industries that depend on us.

What Drives Us

To manufacture reliable and efficient distribution transformers, designed with our own in-house engineering and certified processes, ensuring electrical continuity, safety, and energy efficiency for every project and for the communities where our products operate.

Where We’re Going

To become a benchmark in Mexico and North America for the demonstrable reliability of our products, the precision of our engineering, and the certainty of our lead times, contributing to a stronger and more sustainable electrical infrastructure.

How We Work

At Delta Electric, we are guided by consistency, precision, and responsibility in manufacturing transformers with in-house engineering, certified processes, and locally sourced materials. We believe technical transparency and teamwork are key to delivering reliable solutions that keep Mexico and the world powered.

Certified Engineering You Can Trust.

At Delta Electric, every transformer is built under ISO 9001–certified processes and in full compliance with NMX, ANSI, IEEE, and NEMA standards. Our commitment to reliability is demonstrated through rigorous testing, technical transparency, and traceable manufacturing in every stage of production. These certifications are more than requirements they are the foundation that ensures continuity, safety, and long-term performance for the industries that depend on our engineering.

ISO 9001:2015

Certifies that our manufacturing operates through controlled, repeatable, and auditable processes. This ensures consistent quality in engineering, materials, testing, and operations, giving clients confidence in every transformer we deliver.

UL (Underwriters Laboratories)

UL compliance allows our transformers and electrical assemblies to be installed in the U.S. without restrictions. It ensures safety, reliability, and adherence to OSHA, NFPA, and local authority requirements—reducing project risk and increasing acceptance for industrial and custom applications.

IEEE / ANSI

NEMA standards ensure that our enclosures and components meet U.S. requirements for durability, protection levels, and environmental resistance. This improves acceptance in EPC and OEM projects and positions Delta as a trusted supplier of compliant equipment.

NEMA
(National Electrical Manufacturers Association)

NEMA standards ensure that our enclosures and components meet U.S. requirements for durability, protection levels, and environmental resistance. This improves acceptance in EPC and OEM projects and positions Delta as a trusted supplier of compliant equipment.

NMX-J-116

NMX-J-116 validates the technical performance of our distribution transformers in Mexico, ensuring compliance with national requirements for losses, impedance, and mechanical behavior. It strengthens our competitive advantage and supports reliable, efficient operation in local industries.

NOM / ANCE

NOM/ANCE certification confirms that our transformers meet Mexico’s mandatory electrical safety standards. It enables unrestricted market participation and ensures that each unit complies with the technical and regulatory requirements demanded by integrators, utilities, and industrial users.

NOM-K / CFE

NOM-K certification qualifies our transformers for use in CFE-regulated projects, public bids, and national energy infrastructure. It ensures alignment with CFE specifications, improving acceptance, reducing revisions, and positioning Delta as a certified national supplier.
